Our firm is deeply saddened by the recent passing of partner Aram Schefrin. In addition to his notable accomplishments as a well-respected trial lawyer, Aram enjoyed success as a musician and author.
In the 1960s and 1970s, he was lead guitarist and song writer for the rock group Ten Wheel Drive. The band produced several albums and performed in such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Fillmore East, and the 1969 Atlanta Pop Festival.
As an author, Aram penned a number of novels, including the critically acclaimed The Tenth Cow and Marwan: An Autobiography of a911 Terrorist. The latter was recently made into a play, translated into Gujarati and performed on 9/1/2010 in Bombay India. At the time of his death, Aram was in the process of releasing two operas he had recently written.
Aram is survived by his wife, Pamela, and his numerous and adoring pets.
