Workers’ Compensation

Mr. Harnett has been voted one of the top fifty lawyers in Rhode Island by his peers, and has lectured to lawyers throughout the state.

Mr. Harnett earned his degree in 1978 from St. John's University . His undergraduate work was at Fordham University. He joined the firm of Lovett Schefrin Harnett in 1980 and is the managing partner. He is a past President of the Rhode Island Trial Lawyers' Association (1998-1999) and a current member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, Workers' Compensation Committee and The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Mr. Harnett concentrates in Workers' Compensation and Labor Law. He represents injured workers at the trial and appellate level, as well as the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He was previously named in RI Monthly Magazine as one of Rhode Island 's top Workers' Compensation Attorneys. Mr. Harnett is AV Peer Review Rated.
